Smooth King Buck is a supreme example of foundation breeding.  He is built the way a horse should be when you want to get some work done.  He is a buckskin/roan and changes color as the seasons change, and he passes that color down to his colts.  He also passes down his smart brown marble eyes.  After all, good horse people can tell by the eyes how they are going to behave.
